Smoke Detector Program
The Cridersville Volunteer Fire Department provides Smoke Detectors to Village Residents at no cost to the resident to help increase the quality and preservation of life in the Village of Cridersville.
If you are a resident off the Village and your home is without a working Smoke Detector, please call the Station at: 419-645-4000 and speak to one of us or leave a message that includes the following information:
- Tell us your call is about Smoke Detectors
- Your name
- Address
- Call back phone number
- Best time to reach you
You will be contacted by the Fire Department to make arrangements to get your FREE smoke detector(s) and instructions on placement and it's use.
OUR DEPARTMENT WILL INSTALL YOUR DETECTOR IF NEEDED. CHANGE DETECTOR BATTERIES AT EACH "DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME" EVENT PER YEAR. DETECTORS SHOULD BE REPLACED EVERY 10 YEARS.
Remember, "A Smoke Detector could save YOUR life or the life of someone you care about."
