


Breakfast with Santa & Christmas On Main St.

12/08/12 8:00 am Our annual Christmas On Main St., sponsored by our Lions Club, and Breakfast with Santa, sponsored by our Fire Dept., will be on Dec. 8th from 8:00am-1:00pm. Come and enjoy our delicious pancakes, get your picture taken with Santa and many other activities. Times and events listed below:
Christmas on Main Street Events

8:00am-11:00am
- Pancake Breakfast at the fire station. All you can eat pancakes, 2 sausage links and a drink for only $5.00. Proceeds go to "books for Kids" at Cridersville.
9:30am
- Santa Arrives by fire truck for a visit at the Fire Station.
10:00am-11:00am
- Wapakoneta Senior High Singsations will be caroling at some of the Christmas on Main Street stops, starting off at the Fire Station at 10:00am
11:30am
- The Story of the First Christmas at United Methodist Church. Come to the Westview Campus and enjoy the story as told by the Angels. The first 50 kids will get a book.
9:00am-1:00pm
- Decorate your own Christmas Cookie at Otterbein. Kids can pick a cookie and decorate it just the way they want it! Hot dogs, chips, and drinks are available for purchase.
- Holiday Happenings at Bayliff's Funeral Home. Be sure and come in for a variety of activities and refreshments to celebrate the Holidays.
- Bake Sale at Hometown Hope Thrift Store. Why spend time baking then you can get your Holidays treats here!
- Gift Basket Raffle at Epic Hair Design. Open house with refreshments.
- Christmas Craft and Book Sale at the Library **10:00am to 12:00pm** Kids can make and take home their very own Christmas Ornament. There will also be a variety of books for sale as well.
- Christmas with a Cop at the Village Hall. Kids can stop by and get a coloring book, crayons, and D.A.R.E. cards. There will also be some bike helmets and goodie bags handed out.
- Christmas Tree Festival and Village at the Historical Museum. Young and old will enjoy this stop with one of the largest Christmas Village displays in the area with 3 running Lionel Trains. The museum will be filled with dozens of Christmas trees and holiday exhibits. You can also shop the gift shop for that special gift on your holiday list.
- Fudge and Snowman Sale offered by the Garden Club at the Fire Station. Any sweet tooth would want to stock up on this home made fudge. Do you love snowmen? They will have the best selection of snowman ornaments and winter trinkets to decorate your home or give as stocking stuffers. This is their winter fundraiser.
- Penguin Pond offered by the Girl Scouts at the Fire Station. Kids can come and put the sardine bucket into the penguin pond and see what they get for Christmas.
- Holiday Craft and Hot Chocolate offered by the Lions Club at the Fire Station. Pick up your Christmas Ornament Craft bag and enjoy a hot cup of cocoa as you enjoy Christmas on Main Street.
- Letters to Santa sponsored by Dotson's Plumbing and Heating. Kids can write a letter to Santa at the Fire Station and then walk it over to Dotson's and mail then in Santa's Personal Mail Box.
- Open House and Door Prizes at the Family Florist. Stop in and get registered for a gift certificate drawing and be sure to shop their beautiful showroom for the perfect gift.
- Open House and Bake Sale at CJ's Pizza
- Holiday Happenings at the Cridersville Health Care Center. Be sure and visit the facility.
- Open House at Chase Bank. Come in and meet your Christmas Banking Team and enjoy some refreshments.
- Open House at May's Bonnie Lass. Be sure and stop in to get signed up for a gift basket they will be giving away.
- The Wishing Tree at the library. Write your Christmas Wish down on paper, roll it up, and tie it on the Wishing Tree in front of the library. The wishes will remain on the tree through December to ensure we all have a safe, happy, and joyous holiday season!
